Crawford Logan has been ‘Paul Temple’ and in the ‘Archers’ on radio, as well as in ‘Dr Who’ and ‘Eastenders’ on TV. He’s starred in long-running West End stage drama too, like ‘The Mousetrap’ and ‘Woman in Black’. But radio drama is where you’ll most likely have come across him being one of the regulars in BBC Scotland and Radio 4s drama productions. This Festival has seen him as a retired and widowed gardener, delivering a talk to some of his fellow residents at a rebranded ‘retiral residence’ Today he is more often the anonymous voice you hear reading a Talking book’ … indeed he is one of the best voice artists and has read a library full of ‘talking books’. Apart from sharing stories from a long acting career he’ll be reading from some of his favourite pieces, including Burns poems and possibly re-creating Paul Temple too.
