Guided Walk with Duncan Campbell “A Walk with RLS”
Starting at Woodhall Road Wednesday 29th November at 10am
Meet at the "Belvedere" or meeting place, which is on Woodhall Road immediately opposite the start of the walk at the top of the Long Steps. The walk will take 90 minutes and will finish at The Swing, Colinton Parish Church's community café, which is named in memory of RLS's time playing in the garden of Colinton Manse, where his grandfather was Minister. The poetry trail was developed by Colinton Community Conservation Trust to celebrate RLS's connections with Colinton. An ornamental steel arch on Bridge Road marks the start of the walk and is followed by a set of plaques with poems from "A Child's Garden of Verses" Visit http://www.colinton-conservation.org.uk/rlswalk-1.htm  for more information.
