2015: the pattern is established: Scottish novelists, drama and local history.
That first year we had Scottish novelists Anne Donovan and Janice Galloway, Christine de Luca the Edinburgh Makar, drama from Alan Bissett, a visit to the National Library of Scotland to see what they held on Juniper Green, a history walk based on the book about Baberton Mains, local story-telling with Donald Shaw, and serious open discussions about what a Festival is for with Nick Barley, the Chair of the international one.

Venues were local pubs, Juniper Green bowling club, church halls and Currie Library. Martin Bone brought professional expertise to the sound projection. A Facebook page, leaflets, posters and banners were produced to publicise the events. Booking was by Eventbrite and tickets produced at Currie Library.
At the end of the first year Tricia Lumsden stepped down from the committee.
