2023: Our biggest programme yet.
We presented a bumper programme, hugely varied and very popular with over five hundred participants. A botanical theme linked the archive visit, the historical walk and presentations by TV gardener Kirsty Wilson and novelist Sara Sheridan.
“Poyums” with Len Pennie, Art with Damian Callan and the Scottish Tapestry with Andrew Crummy all broadened our offering, which ran between 6th and 20th November. Local Authors and “Colinton specials” of the Dorothy Dunnett society, Mike Scott the Tunnel man and TV Presenter Jamie Crawford enhanced the Festival’s presence in that area. New committee members Helen Moyes and Henry Kinloch were the contacts with Colinton Bowling Club: a new venue.
